In September, 2023, my best friend gave me a Yashica medium-format film camera. He knew I loved my photography classes in art school, and wanted me to get back into the hobby. It worked, and I bought my own Bronica SQ-A less than a year later. I’ve brought at least one film camera on every trip Diana and I have taken since, and I adore it.

Looking at my growing collection of photos, I’m beginning to think I could eventually take enough to turn them into a deluxe(ish) photo book. So that’s my new goal!

The book will have a few constraints: only photos of Diana shot on medium format film in the square aspect ratio, usually spicy, and usually while visiting another country. I hope to have enough quality photos for a high-end book in 1-3 years. I know there will be a very select audience for this type of physical content, but if it sounds like something you’d be interested in, leave your email address and I’ll notify you when it becomes a reality!

In the meantime, I don’t want all the rejected photos to go to waste, so we decided to share them here, totally free. You can just scan the gallery, or you can download the high-quality version of any photo. (Coming soon.) Enjoy!
